Homemade (lite) Chocolate mint Ice Cream

Oh my gosh!..talk about heavenly..try this! Chocolate wafer ice cream with fresh mint. YUM!
Why didn't anyone think of fresh mint and ice cream? Maybe they did...but I didn't.
Just Make my light recipe..
2 cups skim milk
1 cup half and half
some vanilla..ok about 2 tsp
RawAgave Nectar... and yeah about 1/4 cup.
roll up some mint leaves(maybe 5 small leaves) and cut with kitchen scissors into tiny pieces
mix all together...
pour into frozen ice cream maker (quisinart) while it is on.
crush some dark chocolate wafers ( about 10 little thin wafers)and put in ice cream maker when ice cream looks soft frozen.
takes 20-30 minutes. Enjoy.

  1. This looks tasty! I think I will have to give it a try! I am still enjoying the frozen yogurt recipe I got from you! Nice blog! I like the bookshelves in your background :)
